In the second round of the VRL winter trophy András Király took the win in front of belgian hotshoe Kenneth Jeanty. Dennis Douna rounded up the podium. Jeffrey Ruskus had to retire after an incident in the early stages of the race. Robin Verdegaal had to make up for his qualifying penalty and drove his Formula Nippon from 20th to 8th position, scoring points for highest climber.
